Clarifying infused syrup
Ansgar_Hallberg__66022
I infused a simple syrup with a bunch of fine particle ingredients. Of course, the result is cloudy. What is the smartest way to clarify this syrup?

I'd warm it back up and run it through a chemex coffee filter or something similar.

Thanks Brendan. I tried that, but it looks still more like milk than syrup.
Would an agar clarification make sense?

Another idea is to infuse your ingredients into water and then turn that into a syrup. It will have lower viscosity and pass through filters more easily

What did you infuse it with? The only thing I am hesitant about with an agar clarification is the yield.

defatted course-ground nuts and spice (I have to use that and cannot substitute it with extracts)
