Hi guys. I am a total newbie but am very very interested in cooking. I had some extra student loan lying around so I splurged on an Anova sous vide machine. However I don't have a vacuum sealer.
I was wondering if you guys can suggest some recipes that is good for frozen vacuum sealed salmon and chicken breast. Those come vacuum sealed as is, without any marinade. I bought those from costco and it suddenly dawned on me that they come vacuum sealed and could be used for sous vide! The problem is that most recipes I have found require salmon or chicken breast to be sealed WITH additional stuff such as oil or lemon slices or whatever. Since I don't have a sealer I can't really open them up, pour stuff in, and then seal it again.
Please suggest any recipes that allows me to utilize the pre-sealed salmon and chicken breast.
