You guys, meat is cool, but I have a lot of vegetarian friends, and I also happen to really like beans and mushrooms.

I see nothing wrong with cutting the baby in half and topping a really good veggie burger with a bit of bacon.

@Henri - just a little fun with @MIchael. What isn't better with bacon? I have a little family-run butcher shop available to me that makes a nice jalapeño bacon, really good as a condiment!

Frankly, the mushroom patty looks like a perfect condiment on a gruyère-vacherin burger. It seems to solve most elegantly the shape problem of putting mushrooms on a hamburger!

@ThomasStanoulis.... my first thought when I read the Hi-Tech Mushroom Burger recipe was that it would make a fabulous topping for a regular moo-critter burger.
