Substitution for Everclear

Hi Chefstepers

I live in Sweden where Everclear is pretty much impossible to get ahold of. Do you guys have any suggestion of a proper substitute that could be used in the Cherry Cola and Lemon-Lime soda receipt?

Everclear is "plain" booze - Stroh Rom probably tastes too much.

I'm thinking you might just want to try with a hel or halv-boj.

Darn it, I thought brännvin was everclear, but wiki says otherwise. My hat is off to you making your own product in the land of delicious, delicious aquavit.

In Germany its marketed as primasprit or Agraralkohol or Weingeist. Not sure if it's sold in Sweden or what it's gonna be called, but being in the eu and all i suppose you could import it shouldn't be to much hassle.
