Injecting brine with ISI injectors
chriswrightcycles
Hey all,
I just bought a plastic brine injector from my local kitchen store. The thing is total junk and will likely end up in the trash. I'm looking for a sturdier/more reliable option and am thinking I could use my isi whip for this purpose. I know they sell injector tips and was wondering if anyone here has tried injecting brine with a whipping siphon and what your experience has been?
Thanks in advance,
Chris

although this may be possible. Knowing how much is injected per site might be challenging? I have a couple similar to

and like them a great deal.

Would you want N2O or CO2 in your brine? Does that have any negative effects?

I have the injectors for the iSi and I absolutely hate them for injecting brine into meat...I much prefer the manual method.
It's cumbersome, the excess pressure can separate muscles and cause other damage, you get a much better feel for what you're doing when using a manual injector.

Easier, cheaper and faster. Seems like we have a winner.

I use this one and it works pretty well:
