Polyscience Creative Series VS. Anova

I've been looking to get the right sous vide to start out with, and I got down to the Polyscience Creative Series and the Anova. Other than the $200 gap, what's the primary differences between the two?

I read this, at the start he was up in arms that customer service wasn't responding. But by the end of it, he ended up getting a upgrade and was more than satisfied.

Definitely, just wanted to make sure you saw the whole saga. Happy ending, but potentially brutal process.

I have two friends that recently purchased the Anova. I have had a chance to play with it and it really is an awesome, well built piece of equipment. I have also used the Poly Science and it was nice but I didn't see $200 difference. I have an old VWR unit that has an analog dial, however, it will heat a small swimming pool ;-) fast.

I have an Anova and love it. No way to compare to Creative Series unit though.

, I can't even remember how many times I wished I had a second circulator, for the difference you could buy two Anovos.

I would save your money and go for the Anova. The polyscience circulator probably has a better build quality, but I can't imagine the difference is worth paying twice as much. The market is evolving and by the time you need a new one you can probably buy a better one for the price you've saved on not getting a polyscience unit.
Don't have a personal experience with either though. I'm happy with my

, if there is one thing you can trust, it's German engineering.
