As this is in beta I feel obliged to post but lately I've been hearing my friends speak about what makes a good coffee and I was wondering if there would possibly be a (mini-)class about what goes into making a good coffee eg. temp. and bean types?
I've been reading Blue Bottle's Craft of Coffee[0] and have been enjoying it so far. However, I would also love if ChefSteps were to have a coffee class!

It's funny you mention this. We're definitely working on a coffee class and will be released sometime in the near future. I can't tell you when because I honestly don't know, but I know the kitchen and content team here on are it!
James Hoffman (jimseven) is a member of our community at ChefSteps and sometimes weighs in on topics. His website is a pretty cool starting point to learn about coffee, which I think is just too big a field to be comprehensively discussed in one class, but a beginner's primer would be surely interesting. I look forward to it whenever it be complete.
