Polyscience Immersion Circulators
justinkent505
I live in France. If I purchased a Polyscience circulator through your site, would it come ready to use in my country? Or are they only available in the U.S. through your site?

Unfortunately, ChefSteps is not authorized to ship PolyScience equipment outside of the U.S. There are several distributors in France, according to PolyScience's website.

If you have any issues getting a unit. Let me know and I will put you in contact with someone at PolyScience that will help you.

I just heard back from PolyScience. They service France through a UK distributor, SousVideTools.com.

Trying to figure out the major difference between the Creative and the Chef immersion circulator, if you could just give me a gist it would be much appreciated

I've been looking a lot at the specs.
The pump capacity, I think there is a mechanical relay on the creative and
the accuracy is slightly lower (Which shouldn't much matter at all)

Build quality is certainly higher for the Chef model too.

Isn't the creative the exact same model as the Swizz VacStar?

Unclear what the relationship is between these companies. But I wouldn't be surprised if there was some cross-licensing of technology and parts going on.

I'll have a Creative in a day or two. Didn't realize it was available through the site or I would've bought it here.

@Tracy
please share your thoughts on the Creative once you've played with it a bit. After a chamber sealer, that is next on my list of SV kit. And, welcome to a great community!

I went with the chef because of build quality and capacity, the chef is meant to be used day in and day out since it's meant for professional use. Mine has been on 24 hours a day since I got it, hopefully it has many years of service left in it, it seems built very well, I bought mine through
@Chefsteps
before I knew they had an online culinary course or forums. Fast shipping and the lowest price I could find out of any vendor.
