You could serve them on top of the blini's in lieu of caviar. I've also presented salmon tartare in the form of a temaki sushi roll without the rice, just the tartare inside the cone of nori as a play on keller's cornets.

There is a Tomas Keller salmon pate/rillettes recipe that I have done a number of times which is very good. I'm note at home so I can remember which book it is from.
