So, in addition to my much anticipated Searzall that showed up yesterday, even more exciting is that I also got my new cooking shirt. If you've ever caught a glimpse of me cooking in any of my posts, chances are pretty good I've been wearing my old cooking shirt (pictured below with my old torch mid-prep for Churchill's Breakfast). It is my favorite piece of cooking gear (apologies to my circulator, torch, siphon, pressure cooker, chamber vac, et al.). Both shirts are my own design (which is why it took 3 years to get shirt no. 2). They are suitably obtuse so that pretty much no one understands them when I wear them in public. My favorite picture of shirt no. 1 is one that I've never actually seen, but was taken by Ferran Adria with his phone. So that exists somewhere...or it did anyway. I am excited to see what shirt no. 2 has in store.
