Vacuum Chamber Sealers/ Immersion...

Hey y'all! I'm having a hard time picking out a first time commercial setup. We are a small kitchen. The chamber and circulator would see weekly but not daily use. Thinking of going cheap to start with a

Anyone know if this chamber is strong enough to do compressed fruits? Any reason I should go ahead an splurge on a polyscience circulator? Prob dumb questions...
Thanks y'all.

Not familiar with the vacmaster's circulator so can't comment, but have the VP112 and am happy with it. Compresses fruits well.

Although I have no experience with either product, here are some amazon reviews of the circulator

Thanks y'all! The beeping seems really annoying. Think i'm gonna go with that sealer and splurge on a better circulator.

That vacuum sealer is the least expensive chamber vac I have found, (although I don't own one), so while I can't comment on the products in particular, your research path seems solid.

Interesting, i was just about to say something about the circulator, since i have one that looks exactly the same and has the same specs from a different brand so i assumed it was a rebadge. After reading the amazon reviews however it seems that it's not. At least diefferent firmware, because mine does not beep when it reaches the target temp. That would be damn annoying, especially since i have it running over night a lot.
For commercial purposes i'd personally splurge on the poly science, just for customer service alone.

Thanks again y'all. This is my first time posting here and wasn't sure what to expect. Really appreciate all the help. I'll bring a full report of the chamber vac and maybe recipes of some of our stuff once we get it all figured out...

As others have said, the VP-112 is a fine unit and will do compression/infusion without any problems. It wouldn't be my top choice for a busy commercial kitchen, but if it's getting light use it should meet your needs just fine. I really like mine. In addition to being the cheapest chamber vac on the market, it's the only one I had space for in my kitchen!

This just in...the VP-112 does a great job for us. We like it. Employees like using it and getting trained on it. Get one!

Weird that it seems no one has any real reviews on the SV1 machine besides that on Amazon.
