Vacmaster Attachment Hose
Brendan_Lee_56950
I have an old foodsaver and when I bought it there was a package that came with sturdy plastic jars with vacuum lids that you could pull a vacuum on to marinate quickly or store things. Out of curiosity I took the attachment hose from the VP112 and plugged it into the canister top and tested it out and it works like a charm so for those of you with similar canisters or who would want to purchase them, the foodsaver brand works interchangeably.

@Brendan
thanks for the tip, that's interesting. What are you using the canisters for?
Brendan_Lee_56950
they're nice for quickly marinating meat in the fridge and save me a bag in the chamber vac

Aha, that makes sense. Do you have the FoodSaver marinating container?
Brendan_Lee_56950
nope but it looks to be just a different shape of the same container though.

Cool, time to marinate some skirt steak for fajitas!
Brendan_Lee_56950
this mexican place my my house does fajitas with chicken and skirt sliced lengthwise very thinly and topped with ground mexican chorizo, onions, and topped with queso blanco, it's so smokey and delicious.

So the 210c does not have a hose
Oh well.....

@Allen
if you have an older FoodSaver hang onto it, it has the hose for use with the jars, etc ...
Brendan_Lee_56950
@allen
do you mean it didn't come with a hose or it doesn't have a port for the hose?
seijoed
210 and 215 doesn't have hose ports I think.
Allen_Johnson_67197
@Brendan
