Don't expect them to be 'affordable' in the traditional sense though 😜

How limiting are the 8" versions? There is a significant difference in cost...

After a fairly exhaustive search for sieves, I have found what I consider an acceptable affordable sieve. It is a compromise as there is only one size, but it fits into a 4 quart bowl. I find that to be a good place to start. Plus it is under $20.00 and is dishwasher safe. http://www.chefn.com/Product.aspx?id=314
