Does the size of the container affect cooking sous vide?

Will the size of the container affect cooking sous vide? Right now I have the Cambro 12qt. with lid.

I haven't used it yet, waiting for the VacMaster VP112 to come in.

No it won't, provided that your circulator is powerful enough to heat the given quantity of water. Larger containers and larger volumes of water will obviously take longer to come up to temperature, but that's the only real difference. As always, don't crowd the bath and take care to ensure that water is always circulating around all sides of your bags.

And will cool down less when you put cold items into the bath.

Okay, thanks for the comments. I'm using the Anova One @ 12l / min so no issues there.

i just got a Cambro myself. I've used a big turkey roasting pan with my anova before, and it had a huge problem with coming up to temp (75 c). Thankfully i've equipped myself with multiple sous vide this time, may have to double up
