EO1 at wit's end

Hi Folks. I have a Sous Vide Creative that is giving me the EO1 error message in spite of the fact the water level is at max. It gave me the EO1 inappropriately in the past but once I super-filled it it went away. Now it's inoperable. Pushed the reset button, turned it off and on, plugged and unplugged. No luck. Tried to Google with no luck. Can you help?

@Jacek. I got in touch with our contact at PolyScience and relayed these customer experiences. I received the response, "The water must not be high enough," which is not what I was hoping for. They did say PolyScience Customer Service would be happy to help you work through any issues. You can reach them 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM Central Time, Monday through Friday at 847-647-0611. If they can't help you solve this problem, please do let us know. Not sure what we can do, but we will think of something.

Hi, I have the same problem as Susan. After unboxing a brand new machine and installing it in a pot, I get the E01 error. I tried to hang the sous vide creative series perfectly straight, I cleaned and rinsed the machine after unscrewing the back but I still get the E01 error. The styrofoam float seems to be moving freely. What else can I do?

Thanks @Tim. I'll do that. The water here is so hard that probably has a lot to do with it, even when including a water softener.

It sounds like the low water float is getting stuck. Give the unit a good clean.

I have had good results in calling Polyscience when I have had issues with my circulators.

It's working now. I think the issue is it needs to be perfectly perpendicular.
