Professional Scale Durability

Howdy!

I am considering picking up a Sartorius AZ4101 M-POWER Balance as shown on the ChefSteps site.

I'm curious if anyone knows how durable it is? I'm fairly rough on my kitchen scales and don't want to spend the money if I have to treat it with kid gloves.

The scale you mention is no longer made. I have the Sartorius ENTRIS8201-1S Entris Series Precision Balance, 8200 g x 0.1 g, and I have used it for the last two years. It is a great scale, but not cheap.

I don't treat it with kid gloves, but I also do not abuse it. It is a work horse that will easily handle normal kitchen use.
