I'm so jealous! I've been wanting one for a while. They are kinda pricey. I don't know anything about it. Do you buy the container then take it somewhere to have it filled?

They can be expensive if bought brand new. I got it through an on-line auction. Shipping was going to be the most expensive portion until they emailed me and told me to call the local UPS store, they went and got it and packed it for me for just a few $$ and shipped it ground. :-) Take it to a local welding supply store and it's about $2/L (which is lower than when I rented a dewar- repeat business brings the price down) and may go down with more visits.

Can you tell me size, where you bought it and price. Im ready to invest with my tax return. Thanks!!

It's a 25L and I bought it on an online auction for ~$150 (plus shipping++) including the roller base. New they are anywhere from about $800 up. If you are going to invest in a new one, I would personally recommend nothing smaller than about 50L. The larger they are, the less they are (per-L) to fill. Obviously at the price I paid vs new for the one I would prefer, I'd be waiting a while. So, I took a compromise (but a decent one I feel). Ebay and other lab auction sites often has them if you are willing to go used. Hope that helps.
