I want to give it a go with Sous Vide at home. I've looked up the Sous Vide machines on amazon and they really expensive and I can't afford one at the moment. What would be the alternative?
I've got an induction cooker where I can set specific temperatures on it. Would this work or does the water have to circulate inside the pot?
Also is the vacuum sealer necessary? Could I just use zip bags, for example, and let the product lie loose inside the bag while cooking it?
