Minero was awesome today. I would highly recommend going. We went for lunch and sampled quite a bit: chips and salsa, chicken, carnitas, lengua and fish tacos, the beans and mole negra and the mushroom and sweet potato mula. Everything was great, though the standouts were the mula and fish taco. Hope you get to go there!

McCrady's was my favorite. I went there twice while visiting in December. I sat at the bar and got better service and good drinks.

I am going tomorrow too @Cheryl_71360! I assume you are going to the CWFF?

As for restaurant suggestions, we love Husk and SNOB (SNOB is a higher volume restaurant than Husk). For cocktails, I love The Gin Joint. For lunch, I would suggest Persimmon Cafe. It is actually in a Laundromat in the middle of The College of Charleston Campus, but their sandwiches are unique and well crafted with a high attention to detail.

I am looking forward to trying Minero tomorrow, and will report back!
