non-toxic sous vide?

Any suggestions for for container substitutions for someone who understands the benefits of sous vide from many different perspectives but simply does not trust any of the plastic bags on the market. Thank you for your sugestions.

Glass jars are pretty much the only other option. Don't be afraid of plastic. You can't avoid it's use and there us a lot of research to suggest that it is perfectly safe for this sort of application

I don't really think this can be discussed or advised upon as it quickly turns into religion.
I assume you are thinking BPA, there are none in Sous vide rated bags.

I simply cannot trust people who cannot trust scientists who tell us that food cooked in BPA-free plastic at low temperatures is not safe. ;-p
