I read so many posts online about how risky is handling raw chicken in a home kitchen. Most chicken packages in the UK clearly recommend NOT to wash the chicken under running water in your home kitchen sink.
Not sure if this hypochondriasis, however what is the real risk of cutting a whole chicken into smaller pieces on your kitchen worktop? I saw people handling the chicken, even chicken breasts, with tongs. Is there a real danger touching the chicken with bare hands?
