Molecular Kits Modernist Pantry vs. Molecularrecipes

Having tons of fun on this site and truly enjoy all the trips to my local kitchen supply shop. Recently picked up an iSi Syphon tons of fun!!!!

Ok so now I'm researching to get myself a Combo Molecular Starter kit and was wondering if anyone has any comments? I'm completely new to this and have narrowed it down to;

I would recommend the Modernist Pantry kit. It is:

1) A known commodity, as ChefSteps and several community members (myself included) get ingredients there;

2) It is significantly cheaper;

3) It does not use the dreaded 'molecular' moniker.

I just wish they had these kits two years ago...... buying all that stuff a la carte is a hassle.

I think Molecularrecipes is better one option. Yes, it is too costly. but, you get the more features and benefits. It includes the same tools and ingredients used by the top chefs in the world.
