The kitchenaid commercial series is solid. I have one in my kitchen and it works amazingly well.

I'm late to reply, but some points: I have the Bamix Pro. They sell two models with different shaft lengths. I decided to go with the longer one so I could blend deeper pots of soup. Sometimes I wish I went with the shorter shaft. I often blend sauces in mason jars (use wide mouth jars) and the longer shaft Bamix gets a little unwieldily.
