I have a question about packing a bag , I've seen in some videos that they put a hole in the top of the bag (top where the seal is) I was wondering for what it is?

If I understand correctly, it would be just above the seal. The bag clip is to prevent the bag from slipping/moving off the seal bar during the vacuum process.
