Pyrex for microwave recipes?

I've been watching the microwave vegetable recipes today and can't wait to try some out.

Traditionally when cooking or reheating in the microwave, I have a few lidded pyrex/corning bowls that I use - I'm curious if these might work without breaking out the industrial roll of plastic wrap from Costco or if I need to make the seal tighter than the glass is capable of?

If I recall the rubber on the Pyrex seal is not microwave safe ( but you might want to doub k e check) and it may affect the sealing ability.
