Would you pay for your favorite chef's recipes

If a local chef that blow you away with his dishes sells the recipe for $1, would you buy it? I may add, the chef haven't published cookbooks

Certainly, if I could not figure it out, a dollar is money well spent to know how to build something "known-to-be" a delicious recipe, Typically though, I can usually nail them on my own and 95% of the time, make them better

Not normally, given the sheer volume of recipes and information out there already.

Not since Google and YouTube arrived on the scene. Unless it was someone like Heston or Thomas Keller and it WASNT in their books.
