Translation now available for recipes & other course activities

Thanks to our awesome, top secret new engineer, in the sticky navigation bar (the orange bar across the top of the page when you are on any recipe, lecture, etc.) there is now a Translate button. Click it and you can choose any language that Google Translate supports, and it will do the whole page. Don't like a translation you see? Click on any translated text anywhere on the page and google will let you suggest a new translation.

Hi there, I checked your Google translations for German... not really that good, I think, most of the information gets lost. I also made a few translations suggestions but I'm not sure if it gets updated right away (?), didn't look like that.
Anyway, I love your website and the idea behind it! Since Modernist Cuisine is now available in German too, there will certainly be more Germans interested in sous vide cooking and hopefully checking out your page. If you're ever in need of a translator/ German native speaker to help you adjust to that target group, I'd be very happy to help and participate! :-)
Greetings, Juliane

Hey Juliane - thanks for the feedback! We know the google translations won't be too great. I'm not sure either about how quickly the suggested improvements get incorporated by google. At some point down the road we can look at putting in place our own way to do crowdsourced translations, but we are hoping this is better than no translation at all for now.
