Wow, this is really getting horrible. Clearly there is a serious problem with how the forum is set up if this much spam is posted regularly. I love all of the posts I see here of the real contributors, but this makes it a pain instead of a pleasure. Can something PLEASE be done about this?

Rob's right- it makes the place seem kind of clownish. Like, I wouldn't tell anyone to use it as a resource "clownish"...

I couldn’t agree more, Jack. I wish there was a quick, easy solution, but meanwhile, we’ll work on clearing the spam in a more timely manner.

I think you should increase the barrier for profile creation. It's obviously way too easy for the spambots to sign up for accounts

I think i'm moving on to somewhere else. I understand they are busy but, this forum, and its long term active members, is key in recruiting new people.....if I was looking at this forum for the first time and saw all this crap I would not bother to come back.

Agreed. There was a recent thread http://www.chefsteps.com/forum/posts/button-to-mark-spam .

The only way now is , "to send links to spam posts to info@chefsteps.com and we'll take care of them." .

Hopefully this changes.
