Looking for a good cupcake recipe

I've been trying to look for a super light vanilla cake base to make mini cupcakes, but I've been unsuccessful. A lot of them come out dense and heavy. I've also played with the time, since over baked cakes can come out dense and heavy. But haven't found anything successful.

This one cupcake I had from a local store had a super light cake, similar to angel food cake as their cake base. Super light and fluffy, but I can't seem to create that.

Any suggestions for a good cupcake recipe? Thanks in advance!

Don't forget to store cooled cupcakes in a container with a tight-fitting lid in order to keep them fresh. I store mine in Prepworks cupcake carrier. Also, I recommend purchasing cupcakes from a renowned cupcake store. We do not have to learn to bake every thing, including cupcakes. We can simply buy them. For instance, I am in Adelaide and I order cupcakes from this website.
