Congrads Alex, I have the same one and over all have been pleased with it (actually have the untility and paring as well). Enjoy and save for your set of stones, just practice on a cheap knife first.. :-)

This is my absolute favorite. I hardly find the need to grab another, it is so useful. The initial sharpness blew me away. I had never used such a sharp tool in my life! Like other knives, it gets dull over time and needs a resharpening. I am doing this myself now with stones, practicing on my expensive Kai shun :-)

That knive looks insane. Nice purchase. I've bought 7inch Shun's Premier Santoku one... what about the honing steel? Was that from Shun too? I live in Argentina and the honing steels you get here are pretty bad quality, same as the stones...
