When your water saving aerated kitchen tap does not provide the pressure you need to blast the ground in gunk in your 250µm sieve, pull out the pressure washer, it makes short work of it.
I had already tried to clean the sieve with the kitchen tap (left side), but a large scoop of pureed banana had well clogged it. The pressure washer rectified the problem in no time. It should be noted that 36 bananas makes a lot of puree and the sieve will need to be cleaned more than once. For those that use a pressure washer in the modernist kitchen, it is not recommended to use it inside, and unless degreaser is in the recipe, it should be removed from the washer.
