SousVideTools Lite Chamber Vacuum Sealer

Hi CS,

I came across this chamber vacuum sealer when scouring the web for something that is actually affordable for Europeans.

In terms of price it's actually pretty close to what people in the US are paying for the VP112, but there are hardly any reviews (that I can find), so it's hard to tell if the quality is ok. Does anyone have any experience with this unit? For some reason the URL says VP112, and while it has similarities, it certainly isn't the same machine. I've also found the same machine under other brand names (Buffalo, Vac-Tec), but no reviews for those either. Could it be that this is a relatively new product?

Would love to finally get my hands on a chamber sealer without breaking the bank, but not if it ends up breaking down after a year of light use.

Also, kind of related: I came across another machine, but beyond the producer's own website (which I can't read), there's hardly any information out there. The design is really awesome though, so if there are any Swiss people out there who could provide information about pricing/availability, I would be very grateful.

I bought a VP 112 used and have had it while. It gets used 3 to 4 times a day regularly and one a month or so 20 time on the weekend. Love it.... as you said that IS NOT a vp112

Both look decent quality, but would recommend contacting both companies (the swiss usually will respond). Defenitely worth investigating.

But all vacuum chamber machine on sousvidetools website are dry pump. They should be equivalent.

Hi Anders - I purchased the Buffalo branded unit. Had it only two days so cannot comment on longevity but I am so happy with it. I too wanted a chamber vacuum without breaking the bank and this is ideal for me. The chamber is not that big but in fairness, it is in proportion to the price tag! I love it, been experimenting for the last two days with everything. Good luck.

If you are looking for good-quality vacuum sealer with Europe delivery you can buy it on Amazon. Of course, it's quite hard to choose from hundreds of brands. From my experience, FoodSaver is a good one. There are many models from this brand, and most of them are definitely good. I'm using GM2150-000 model and I'm satisfied with this purchase. Easy to use, works very fast and costs not so much.
