They come pretty much pre-seasoned. I gave them a quick wipe and heated one up, let it cool a little, dropped in a pat of butter and broke an egg in it. That sucker slid around the pan far better than it did in my teflon stuff ...I AM A BELIEVER !

I REALLY wanted those paella pans. so I just seared off two 4 lb ribeye s and wiped the pan out with a paper towel (a spot about the size of a quarter was crusty so i scraped with a wooden spoon) ....Perfectly clean
