Buying a chamber vac.

Hello all!

I'm just curious if I should go with the VP112S or the VP215. I am not sure about the strength of vacuum that is able to be pulled by each one, and would like an easily adjustable machine.

I opted for the VP-215 and am very happy with it. I know that many others here report a similar experience with the VP-112. I went with the oil pump vs. the rocker type.

I have the vp112 and am pleased. The 215 gets great reviews. To me the lid on the 112 is not as sturdy but it has an accessory port the 215 does not have. Trade off regardless but both appear to be great.

Thanks folks! I'm a student, and so I went with the cheaper option. I just wanted to make sure they weren't drastically different. Thank you all for the input!
