A sharp knive

So i have been using a stone to sharp my knive and i have some questions

I am mainly using victorinox knives

I have cheap knives that can be sharp very easy and expensive knives that cant be sharpen good

So is forged knives harder to sharp or is it a good choice

is all carbon a damascus knives forged ???

I'd say they're harder to sharpen because the material is better quality and harder to remove. The cheaper knives have cheaper material and are easier to sharpen because of it. Better quality blades will probably take a bit longer than cheap blades for that same reason. (I think) The difference is that cheap knives will hold their edge for much less time than expensive, high-quality material knives, again, for that same reason.
