So I've managed to acquire a Ultrasonic Homogenizer with a brand new high-gain horn; box was still sealed and the horn was vac-packed. Its just like the Polyscience Sonicprep, except mine has more power; 700w vs the Sonicprep's 400w.
Here it is working on coffee.
I've actually got two generators, a Heatsystems and a Virsonic.
Thus far I've used it to foam my coffee, cold brew tea, create chili oil and create some killer emulsions. A test with water and oil has stayed milky for weeks.
My next plan is to use it to make a nikiri (sake, temari, bonito, mirin) and also to make a black garlic soy sauce.
The place I got it from also has a new flow-through head I can snag for cheap.
Looking for additional thoughts and ideas of what I can do with it.

On that note, I've also got a rotor-stator homogenizer and a ultrasonic bath.
