Dear friends, could you please help me with a recipe question? I am trying to learn the name of the "clear glaze" that is so common on tortes and tarts , usually acompanied with fruit. In my search I located the "melba sauce", only this is not clear, it is rasberry base. I donot know if my discription has been of any help, but I am sure that you know what I am talking about. What I am looking for is like a clear gel. If you could help me with the name then the reecipe will be easier to locate. I really appreciate your assistance . Thank you for your time and effort.
