Does anyone else here notice the little differences Chefsteps makes to their presentation on a video compared to other things you might find on, lets say, Facebook? I guess to be less ambiguous (rant to follow), I personally can't help but notice when the guys make a video and post it. It is clean, elegant, theoretically sound and well put together. Opposite of that is things you'll find like Buzzfeed food, Tasty, Tiphero (to name a few) and I can't help but see these video's and think what is this garbage food made with this garbage technique doing on my news feed? Then like a horrific car accident, I can't really help but watch, only to be asking questions like why are your hands in that bowl, you animal? Have you ever heard of a spoon? Why is everything wrapped in bacon, deep fried or made with a tube of Pilsbury croissant dough? Do I really need the people who have shared this trash in my life? I don't know what I expect (perhaps some white trash girl getting hit with a shovel at the very end) but one thing is clear; I watch the video's here obsessively, and I've been a chef in a Michelin star restaurant so maybe I've become spoiled when it comes to technique and cleanliness. That said, has anyone else here found anything else similar to Chefsteps in that regard or am I doomed to waiting for the new thing to come out each week while these food cancers fill space and push me closer to saying "look, I just don't really see the point of grandma Anne in 2016"
