is joule for home or commercial use

hey everyone ! I'm thinking i might buy joule, but i was wondering if it is a home tool or if its commercial? I've been wanting a sou vide for so long and have been waiting to see if something new and improved came along and here it is! i do work in commercial kitchens so i don't know if this is something that would work for me or its strictly for home use? thanks for the help!

Hi Micaela! While Joule wasn't designed to be a commercial product, there's no reason that it can't be used commercially. However, at the moment our warranty does not extend to professional use.

Think of it as being sold for home use, while being built like a tank with commercial specs. It's probably going to be the best designed and built product in your kitchen, so that you can enjoy cooking Sous Vide for many years to come.

my stopped circulating within a year. customer service says I used it commercially even though the Joule was used for home use only.
