Money Back Guarantee?

Will Joule have a satisfaction guarantee or some sort of return policy? Would like to preorder it, but concerned about being an early adopter and the fact that its shipping date was just delayed due to manufacturing issues.

Many more FAQs there as well. Nervous is not a bad thing. I'm not b/c I was fortunate to try it and others have been around and know the history behind the people making it. If it helps, just look at how they handled the delay. How many companies would offer a contest costing thousands of $$. Think of the potential of sending Chris and Nick (two very accomplished Chefs) on a plane (there's a grand), plus the multi-course menu (if you know their food, that won't be cheap), plus their accommodations, plus Nick's Glass nut habit to take on the road ;-). So a few grand $$ for a device that's a couple hundred as an apology for what......being late. Yes they've sold a few but still, show me a manufacture that has only one device and offers that kind of transparency, AND then apologizes for being late because they want to make us happy? How many times have software companies launched a couple hundred dollar software with more bugs than planters has peanuts, what do you get back from them? Often more headaches and you certainly don't get a chance at a multi-course meal of this magnitude without giving up allot of your identity to the software company. Anyway (sorry for the soapbox) read the FAQ's and reach out to Ellen and the gang at CS if you have any questions or concerns. Please accept the long winded note with the spirit intended (positive). You being nervous and wondering is NOT a bad thing at all. Hopefully the response had the right tone and message type. And of course, many of us here will help as much as we can, now and, after you get your Joule. Cheers!

Thank you Todd and Chris. I'm selling my Sous Vide Supreme to buy a Joule. Really excited to get my hands on it.

Hey Joe, I'm selling my unit as well so I have a feeling ebay might be a little used SV busy in the future. ;-)

If you only have a SousVide Supreme you may want to hold onto it for a month or two to decide if you will utilize two sous vide machines at the same time or that you will use them for different purposes. I've had both the all-in-one Sous Vide Supreme and a stick form factor machine for approximately a year and I wouldn't give up either one. I use the stick form factor machine for large amounts, or cuts, of meat in a cooler (e.g. a multiple briskets, 20-40 hamburgers for a party, 4-6 racks of ribs for a large gathering, a 20 lb pork shoulder, etc.) which I cut a hole with a hole saw and the unit slides right in and it is highly efficient from a thermal perspective.
