I promised the plumber lunch to have the hook up done by the weekend, now we're cooking with gas.
I didn't get any pics of the flank steak on St Barbara, as I was too busy watching my hand and arm hair disappear, keeping the beard safe (it is), adjusting the MUA, and finding the hot spots.
Auctions are great ways to pick up equipment cheap, but they are not always clean. Since
@Todd Shewman and
@John Fisher haven't made it here yet, I had to clean the grill grates. After trying numerous methods, a wire brush and large flat head screwdriver was the best way to remove the build up.
After dropping into Sam's Club to put gogo juice in the car and get some paper towel, I came out with a Box o' Lamb - 24 NZ Frenched Racks at $8.83/pound. Since in the last 10 days I have cooked over 20 racks, I don't see this box lasting until 20 May. I also see Babs getting up close and personal with some Kiwi ovine soon.
