Thank you to everyone at ChefSteps and to all the fellow members that were able to make the outing. From a wonderful view, to demonstrating the continual testing of the prototypes, the history of the hardware components and all the people behind the scenes (can't say enough!!), to the finale'. Ben, Nick and Grant who cooked for us all (Fing amazing ribs and brisket, tonkatsu, 104 Salmon to the world class cocktails from James Hoffmann and the personalized egg. Chris, Kevin, Emmett, Amy, Ellen, Michael, Tim, .....the entire team (I need a new address book :-)...). Thank you for a fantastic day and congratulations on all the work!!

Real bummer Johan. I put mine in my liquids bag, but they swabbed and tested each of the other items...no problem just took an extra 20 minutes in the penalty box at TSA.

Agreed, just a fantastic time. THANKS to everyone at ChefSteps - unbelievable hospitality. Amazing amount of talent at CS - seriously - the day was like Rock and Roll Fantasy Camp for food nerds.

We got to see prototypes of the joule, talk engineering with the team (thanks Kevin!), chat about sous vide and maths with Doug Baldwin, have James Hoffmann make us lattes (and cocktails - my god the strawberry and gin!!!). Plus so much more.

(BTW I swear I was there - in the group photo, you can just barely see my nametag behind Todd...)
