That's the blender I have, it's a great unit. But the listing shows the seller is out of all 27 units they were offering, so might be a moot point.

I didn't realize that these had gotten more expensive. $300 is a good price, but they're out of stock.
Vitamix occasionally runs specials on their refurbished models. You can pick up refurbished "two paddle switches and a speed knob" versions
for $329 normally
... on special they drop down under $300.

If you end up with the Waring, I highly suggest picking up a tamper from Alternajar. I have one and it works well. Not
quite
as well as the Vitamix's tamper, but well enough to merit paying the $15. It's pretty burly too... if you ever have a need for a police baton, this tamper is a decent substitute. I'd provide a link, but the forum doesn't allow URLs with the word "store" in them. Just search for Alternajar tamper and you'll find it.
