Thinking about pulling the trigger on one

I would love to hear a review from anyone who has one of these.
Or any recs on a similar price point chamber sealer?

Might consider the Vacmaster 215. Less expensive and close to the same specs?

You can get a Vacmaster VP215 delivered for a
good price
but if you can wait until closer to the Christmas holidays the manufacture will have them on sale again for 30% off. A few of us just got one during their spring sale for $629 delivered. Mfg's

The VP215 does require some maintenance as it uses oil, supposedly longer lasting. But if you want a dry maintenance free like the PS 300 look at the Vacmaster VP210, almost identical specs as the PS. Just my opinion, for what it's worth.

I think you will find the majority of us use the VacMasters. I have a VP112 I bought off Craig's list for $125 it was well used and I have run another 1500 bags through it. Just found my friend one las wee for $200. They are hard to beat. If you look at the specs the VP215 weighs almost double the 300, I know that sounds like a strange way to compare but when you are pulling 28+ for a vacuum that puts a lot of stress on components...
