Death of my Anova

While I was cooking last night my Anova Precision quit circulating. The heater still worked and maintained temperature, so I was able to finish the fish I was cooking. Anova is taking care of it as it is less than a year old. I keep it clean and regularly rinse it with Zep as recommended by the manufacture. Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem?

On my 3rd one but different problems previously. Don't trust it with long cooks. My PS is getting to the point where I'm tempted to order another as well. It's been a workhorse, but.......it's still a machine.

What was your turn around time? I'm lost without sous vide.

They put it in the mail as soon as I emailed them the tracking number. ~4 days or so I was without my anova (but had my PS)

I can't recommend a PID controller and commercial rice cooker enough for SV. A lot cheaper and an absolute workhorse. I use a Sous Vide Magic controller and it has never failed me in any way. One caveat though, be sure to get the upgraded one for extended cooking time as the base model doesnt have a good heatsink and will eventually fuse the electric plug from the cooker into the PID controller. Of coarse I may change my mind when I get the Joule but in the meantime I know if I set my rig up, it will perform without any surprises or hiccups. Having said all that.....you can go pick up a small aquarium air pump for a few bucks to circulate the water. The airflow will do an adequate job.

I have a Sansaire pc for the last 2.5 years, And it never failed so far, not even during 72 hours of cooking. Highly recommend.

I've gone through one Anova already but it was luckily under warranty still. My problem was that it wouldn't heat.
