Patiently Waiting

Since I have 2 Anova precision cookers and a Paragon, I am not in a hurry to get mine. I so very much appreciate ChefSteps, and bought a Joule as much to support what you folks bring to my cookery as to feed my never-enough-cooking-tools habit.

would love to hear that. I appreciate what you have said and couldn't of said it better myself. I only have one Anova, (getting fixed right now) but totally agree.

Well said Steve! I'm in the same situation. I have a PolyScience circulator, a Sous Vide Supreme and a SansAire, but that didn't stop me from pre-ordering a Joule. As you said, to support the effort by the amazing ChefSteps team! But I really can't wait to get my hands on the Joule and start using it!

I have been interested in buying a Sous vide machine for some while now but two things are holding me back....
1/ The size of the machine(as counter space is limited) and 2/ The price didn't want to pay £300 upwards..
The Joule seems to solve both these problems, but like a lot of new tech it seems it takes forever to actually get them made and shipped....I understand it must be a complicated process but it would give prospective buyers like myself more information, rather than say its"Open ended" is the problem finance, manufacturing, approval, technical issues,or shipping? I think like me many would wait for another 3 months(before buying another option) but if it goes into late 2016...well I'm not sure!
