Despite the extreme heat and the 12 hour day I put in, the event went smooth as gravy. The private event was at a Hunting/Fishing club so the menu was very pedestrian.
Hawaiian Sloppy Joe sandwich,
Smoked Brisket sandwich,
Grilled Chicken Sandwich with Cucumber Salsa,
Thick cut beer-breaded Onion Rings.
That's me closest to camera, the other two had never worked in food service before but they did great.
Quick ticket times and lots of compliments on the food.
We served around 100 tops Im guessing, which was more than I expected with that heat.
I wanted to serve Bison and Chorizo sliders but I couldn't source it in time.
Noone would have known it was our first day running the truck.
I am pleased.
