Or email her at ellenk@chefsteps.com...... The only way you could use your Joule will be with a large 1200 watt power converter. I will warn you that usually US voltage is 60 hertz and 220 volts is 50 hertz. I lived in Thailand for a while and their power is 220V, 50 Hz as well, using power converters some things worked fine and some didn't. Anything with a clock that doesn't have a 50Hz or 60 Hz switch ran slow, if it ran at all. When it converts the power to 110 volts it is still at 50 Hz.
