id like to have recommendations on wether to buy tho home version or the original I’m a bit concerned of water resistance in case of a spill and also the cooling of the unit . I will use this in a family setting 99% of the time and sometimes for groups of 10-12 people

From everything I've read, there's not much to choose between them, so pick the least expensive. I have the Home, and it is great (it has exactly the same heating element as the OG).
