Oh My God! After learning that my Joule will be arriving in September (Yippie!), I received the e-mail regarding the recipes for a Game of Thrones Feast. I am blown away! I became a member several months ago and ordered my Joule some time in April. I check in with CS sometimes multiple time a day to learn more about cooking, technique, and fine eating. The KOT Feast is a showstopper! I can't wait to try it out.
You guys have taken a beating over the past several weeks. Sure I would have, loved to have my Joule the day after I ordered it. I am a retired college dean. Over the years, in addition to supervising faculty, students, and personnel, I was involved in the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of curriculum. I had the privilege of providing leadership in the creation and delivery of new academic programs. It wasn't always exhilarating. Problems, challenges, and setbacks were experienced along side the joy and glory! As I read some of the comments posted regarding Joule over the past several weeks, I experienced flashbacks and some "post traumatic" of my own pursuit of developing new programs.
You ALL deserve tremendous credit for your accomplishments. Through it all, you have remained a class act. I thank you for your creativity, enthusiasm, professionalism, and humor. I only wish that I could turn back the clock for me and try out to be a member of your team! I'm 66 years old and quite content however to pursue my amateur culinary ambitions and impress my family and friends.
I could go on and on but I'm going to focus on locating a suckling pig!
